Here stood in the past the house of the Campos family. Since the 16th century they invested on innovating fisheries, by introducing some new kind of nets which allowed bigger captures of anchovies and sardines. These gave a boost to fish salting industry, which they took part in, in order to export fish to France and mediterranean region. From 1580 on, they started producting gray mullet and red bream marinades, they exported to big cities of the Iberian Peninsula.
